AI-Powered Localization & Automation Intern

Join us in building an AI-powered translation workflow for game development! You’ll work on automating localization in Google Sheets, testing an end-to-end pipeline that converts spreadsheets to Unity YAML files. Your work will streamline translations while integrating ML-driven quality checks for uncertainty detection.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Python-based automation tool to manage translations in Google Spreadsheets, with multi-language support.
  • Implement heuristic or ML-based confidence scoring to flag uncertain translations for human review.
  • Test integration with an existing Python YAML parsing script.
  • (Optional) Integrate with GitHub for automated updates and version control.

Required Skills:

  • Basic Python programming skills.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and making web requests.
  • Ability to identify and communicate technical challenges.
  • Reliability in attending scheduled online meetings.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Sensor Fusion & Motion Tracking Intern

We’re developing an AI-driven motion tracking system for a glove with IMU-sensor-based rotational data. This role involves researching and implementing sensor fusion algorithms, blending kinematics, numerical optimization, and machine learning to track movements with high precision. If you love VR, biomechanics, or AI-driven tracking, this internship is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a sensor fusion algorithm to process rotation data from a multi-sensor glove.
  • Use forward kinematics to reconstruct hand motion (inspired by SlimeVR).
  • Extend the model to track body movements using additional sensor straps.
  • (Optional) Apply numerical optimization to integrate IMU acceleration data, reducing drift and improving accuracy.
  • (Optional) Experiment with neural networks to learn kinematic corrections from real-world motion data.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python or C++.
  • Knowledge of linear algebra and numerics.
  • Ability to identify and communicate technical challenges.
  • Reliability in attending scheduled online meetings.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in sensor fusion, kinematics, and/or machine learning.
